Prophet Segun Adewumi was born into a family of committed servants of God. Following the demise of his father in 1949, he was raised by his uncle, a Prophet of The Aladura Church, who profoundly shaped his spiritual foundation. He attended Eyemote Comprehensive High School in Iyin Ekiti and acquired professional training in Accounting and Administration, eventually working as an Accountant Secretary at Wusasse Hospital in Zaria before answering God's call to full-time ministry in 1981.
From an early age, Prophet Segun exhibited an uncommon ability to comprehend and recite Scripture, particularly the Psalms.
